Besides our extremely competitive rates, hospitality and having some of the newest boats on the lake. We provide a couple extras that are Lakeview Exclusive.
1. Extended rental hours for cabin guests. Sunrise to 30 minutes before sunset. Boats must be back in the main cove by 5pm.
2. We provide and walk you through a full detailed map of our operating area. We show you the best spots to throw anchor, where to fish, where to pull a tube, places to stop and eat and areas to use caution or avoid.
3. We give a complete boat walk-through. Boat controls, docking procedures, tips & tricks, safety procedures, boating courtesy, and locations of all equipment. You will be confident when you start your day.
4. All boats feature GPS Navigation.

*All children 12 and under are required by law to wear a life jacket at all times. It is highly recommended to purchase them a proper fitting life jacket before arriving. Due to many size variations with children, we only keep a limited number of children life jackets on hand. They are first come first serve. We do not supply infant/toddler size jackets*

Must be 21 years old to reserve.
A $250 damage deposit is required at check-in for all boats.
Damage deposit is refunded at the end of the reservation minus any fuel used or damages.
Rental Boat Policies
- Reservations: Renter must be 21 years of age with a valid ID. The full rental amount including damage deposit must be made before the watercraft may leave the marina. A valid credit card is required to be on file for all reservations.
- Pets: Up to 2, max 50lb each and must be under owners control. Pet fees apply. Bringing more than 2 pets or pets that are not under owner control will not be allowed to board the boat and no refunds will be issued. Before you decide to bring your pet, boat seats are expensive. They range from $200 to $1000+ depending on seat and fabric.
- Hours: Fishing Boats 8am-5pm, Pontoons 9am-5pm. Lakeview cabin guests get extended hours for free for all boats. Sunrise to 30 minutes before sunset. Must be able to do the boat checklist before 5pm the day before for a sunrise departure. Cabin guest boat rentals must be back in the main cove (Cypress Cove) by 5pm. Late returns are charged $50 per 15 minutes. Renter will not be charged if waiting for Lakeview staff for fueling and are within the "No Wake" buoys at the marina.
- Cancellations: Greater than 7 days prior to the reservation will receive a full refund minus 10% administration fees, 7 days to 48 hours before reservation will receive a full refund minus $100 and/or any processing fees. Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to the reservation will receive no refunds.
- Rescheduling: You have the option to reschedule IF it is made 48 hours or greater before the reservation. Reschedules must be made for the current boating season and are subject to a $20 rescheduling fee. Reschedules are not eligible for refunds.
- Holidays: Due to high demand, Holidays and Holiday Weekends MUST be cancelled 7 days or greater to the reservation to receive any refunds or rescheduling options. Ex: Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend is Friday - Monday. 4th of July varies by year.
- No Show Policy: Deposit is forfeited for ALL no shows.
- Weather Policy: All weather cancellations are made by Lakeview Cottages & Marina. Cancellations due to severe weather will be offered to reschedule or a 50% refund of the deposit. We do not cancel for overcast or light rain. We base our decision on guest safety. Weather cancellations are made the day of the reservation.
- Rental Boat Agreement will be signed at check-in.
