Before you reserve
Minimum age: Renters must be 25 with valid identification.
Damage deposit: $250 at check-in for all boats. Refunded after the rental, minus fuel used or damages.
Children’s life jackets: Children 12 and under must wear a properly fitting life jacket. Infant and toddler sizes are not supplied; please bring your own.

Rental hours
Pontoons & tritoons: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Fishing boats: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
All boats are due back by 5:00 p.m. regardless of pickup time. Please arrive about 30 minutes early for the map review, boat orientation and rental agreement.
Cabin guests: Complimentary extended hours are available from sunrise until 30 minutes before sunset. Boats must be back in Cypress Cove by 5:00 p.m.
Know before you go
Rental policies
Review the key terms below before booking. The rental agreement is signed at check-in.
Reservations and payment
The renter must be at least 25 years old with valid ID. The full rental amount and damage deposit are due before the boat leaves the marina, and a valid credit card must remain on file.
Pets
Most boats allow up to two pets, maximum 50 pounds each, under the owner’s control. Pet fees apply. The 2025 Godfrey tritoon does not allow pets.
Late returns
Late returns are charged $100 per 15 minutes. Renters are not charged while waiting for Lakeview staff to fuel the boat if they are inside the marina’s no-wake buoys.
Cancellations and rescheduling
More than seven days before the reservation: the deposit is refunded minus an administrative fee equal to 10% of the deposit. Seven days to 48 hours: the deposit is refunded minus $100 and processing fees. Less than 48 hours: the rental deposit is forfeited. Rescheduling must be requested at least 48 hours ahead, used in the current boating season and includes a $20 fee.
Holidays, no-shows and weather
Holiday reservations require at least seven days’ notice for refund or rescheduling eligibility. No-shows forfeit the deposit. Lakeview makes weather cancellations on the rental day based on guest safety; severe-weather cancellations may be rescheduled at no charge or canceled for a fee equal to 10% of the deposit; the rest of the deposit will be refunded.
